A color consultation is REQUIRED prior to booking if you are a new client or have not had your hair colored by Adrienne in the last 12 months.

Adrienne began her career in 2005, working as a receptionist at Gould’s Salon in Memphis, TN while attending Plaza Beauty School. She was a professional stylist for Gould's for over 10 years and in this time ,has proven to be one of the best signature stylists of her time. Adrienne transitioned from Gould's, to Salon de' Coupe in Bartlett, TN and after 16 years retired from behind the chair to become a full time independent hair color educator.
Her experience spans all over the United States. Having trained with some of the best in New York City and styled events for big names including Bobbi Brown's make up launch while working as a stylist at Ted Gibson Salon in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has also worked with some of Memphis’ biggest names, including the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies Grizz Girls! Adrienne is the industry go-to girl for finding your Total Look!
In addition to being a professional stylist, she’s also an educator. Adrienne spent 3 years as a certified Bumble and Bumble network educator, has been a brand ambassador, educator & platform artist for global company, Celeb Luxury, and is now a collaborative color coach for the Texture vs Race Collaborative which has allowed her to grow as a platform artist and teach on international show stages and classrooms.
Adrienne also takes time to give back to the community as a philanthropist. She created and produced THINK PINK! Hair & Fashion Show, a benefit for Memphis' Susan G. Komen Foundation, Beyond The Chair: A Beauty Symposium, A 3 day symposium with intimate demo, hands on, and panel discussion sessions, which has now been transitioned to a non profit organization for future beauty professionals ages 13-19, known as The Adrienne Small Foundation®.
In 2016, Adrienne was recognized as one of the Top 40 under 40 Urban Elite Professionals in Memphis, Tn for her work as an entrepreneur, created her very own magazine, Hair Color Concepts® in 2019, and now offers hair color training inside of her new online school, Hair Color Concepts® Academy, where monthly memberships, 1 on 1 & group masterclasses, as well as intensive trainings are now available!
Adrienne Small received her Master Cosmetology Instructor license in 2021, and is a Beauty Mastermind that provides education for all hair types with specialities in color, cutting, styling, & natural hair blowout services.
